Making Our Rings
When considering our wedding rings, it was important to us for the rings to be imbued with memories from the very beginning. After stumbling upon the possibility of making our own rings, we worked under the guidance of a local jeweler to do just that!
In lieu of stories about how we met or how our relationship developed, we want to share this special piece of our wedding preparations with you. Spending time together crafting these symbols of our love for and commitment to each other was a wonderful process. Though there was not inconsiderable gravitas to it, we had much fun sawing, hammering, annealing, and polishing the plain, flat metal into the rings we’ll wear. We’re looking forward to exchanging them in just a few weeks!
